Biography
Born in northeast England, since arriving in London John has performed across the jazz gamut alongside musicians including Helena Kay, Jonny Mansfield, Dominic Ingham, Jo Harrop, Nigel Price, Sam Braysher, Matt Anderson and many more.
He is a recipient of the Royal Academy of Music’s Scott Philbrick Prize for outstanding postgraduate recital, graduating with distinction. John’s playing and teaching are guided by a varied musical experience and focus on an instinctively melodic connection to the instrument and the music.
