Biography & Pure profile

Lulu trained in scenography at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and works nationally and internationally as a freelance performance designer. She previously taught MA Scenography and BA Performance Design at RCSSD as a visiting lecturer, and BA Film, TV and Stage Design at University of Salford as a teaching fellow, before joining BA Performance Design course at Guildhall.

She has also been actively engaged in art festivals and exhibitions as an artist, curator and exhibition designer, including Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, London Art Biennale, World Stage Design, among others. She was a finalist of Linbury Prize and the winner of Taking the Stage supported by the British Council Ukraine, as well as the winner of Naomi Wilkinson Award for Stage Design.

She enjoys working with students and exploring the boundaries of what performance design can be, now and in the future.
