Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody in this exhilarating concert with the professional musicians of Guildhall Session Orchestra.
Marking 50 years to the day since the release of the album A Night at the Opera, and the eve of this iconic song reaching UK No. 1 in 1975, this very special one-hour performance presents a brand-new orchestral arrangement of Bohemian Rhapsody and other much-loved Queen tracks reimagined for a thrilling euphonic experience.
On stage are the magnifico Guildhall Session Orchestra, a dynamic professional ensemble of talented Guildhall School alumni making waves across the music world, and a diverse mix of vocalists from among our current students, directed by Mike Roberts and Clare Wheeler.
Founded in 2019, the Guildhall Session Orchestra has worked with artists Aoife O'Donovan, Joyce DiDonato, Becky Hill, Corinne Bailey Rae, Zbigniew Preisner and Adekunle Gold, and taken centre stage in spectacular genre-blurring performances such as OrchestRAM, An Orchestral Journey Into Drum & Bass.
Don’t miss this extraordinary orchestral celebration of one of the greatest songs of all time.
