This Sunday afternoon concert offers the chance to enjoy a delightful programme of Roussel, Schumann and Enescu as part of the Guildhall Chamber Music Festival.

A quartet of Guildhall professors join forces with four outstanding student string players for a performance of Enescu’s magnificent Octet in C major, which follows an illustrated lecture about the piece earlier in the day by first violinist Simon Blendis.

Guildhall professors Philippa Davies (flute), David Waterman (cello), Simon Blendis (violin), Sara Wolstenholme (violin), Sarah Jane Bradley (viola) and Ursula Smith (cello) perform in collaboration with Guildhall instrumentalists.
