Guildhall Jazz Festival: Itiberê Orquestra Família feat. Guildhall Improvisers Ensemble

A rare UK appearance from Itiberê Orquestra Família, led by visionary Brazilian composer, multi‑instrumentalist and long‑time Hermeto Pascoal collaborator Itiberê Zwarg. Known for his expansive approach to “Universal Music,” Itiberê’s work blends deep rhythmic complexity, rich harmony and collective improvisation into a vibrant, ever‑evolving ensemble sound.

For this special Guildhall Jazz Festival performance, Itiberê joins forces with the Guildhall Improvisers Ensemble, creating a large‑scale collaboration rooted in spontaneity, colour and shared musical invention. Expect intricate rhythmic interplay, bold ensemble textures and the unmistakable spirit of Hermeto’s musical lineage.
