Event Information
Guildhall School’s annual Opera Makers presents an evening of new music theatre, showcasing original short operas by emerging composers and librettists.
This year’s programme features three newly created works:
- A Bone to Pick, composed by Eluned Davies with libretto by Bess Still
- Elara Catching Sky, composed by Yotham Ben Yami with libretto by Ariella Stoian
- The Vanishing Act, composed by Diego Jimenez with libretto by Stuart Lee
Staged in the intimate surroundings of Milton Court Studio Theatre, Opera Makers offers a rare opportunity to experience the next generation of operatic storytelling as it takes shape – inventive, immediate and newly imagined for the stage.
Part of Making It Festival 2026, an annual celebration of new, original work created by Guildhall students.
