Event information

Join us for an evocative evening performance in two parts, showcasing the work of Guildhall School's Production Arts department.

The first, an aerial act by Will Davis and Sophie Page Hall, is inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. This striking piece of aerial and physical theatre delves into the profound themes of love, loss, and the journey through the underworld. There will also be live musical accompaniment for this performance by harpist Chris Clarke in tandem with the Guildhall Live Electronics Ensemble.

The second part features two Expanded Cinema films by Owen Kelly and Mabel Nash, showcasing innovative uses of the dynamic automation system of the Milton Court Theatre stage. Mobile surfaces and intricate projection techniques bring these films to life in a unique visual experience.

The show is brought to life with the support of Guildhall's Production Arts students, who contribute their expertise in Stage Management, Production Management, Technical Management, Automation, Sound, Video, Lighting, and Costume.

Following the event there will be the opportunity to hear from the creators in a short Q&A session.

Free, no tickets required
