Event information

The boundary-pushing Ubu Ensemble, directed by Simon Wills, turns its lens to the world of cinema in a thrilling exploration of film-inspired sound.

From Peter Maxwell Davies’s Suite from The Devils - a vivid reimagining of his music for Ken Russell’s controversial 1971 film - to the haunting atmospheres of Ingram Marshall’s Fog Tropes and the frenetic energy of John Adams’ Chamber Symphony, this programme offers bold sonorities, experimental textures and unrestrained imagination.

Free, no tickets required
