Biography & Pure profile
What's been your highlight during your time at Guildhall?
My highlight during my time at Guildhall was working as the sound designer on Enron. Working in a role that saw the creation of the show from the ground up was a truly rewarding experience. I particularly enjoyed developing my artistic style; this show stretched my creative ability as it called for a vast array of sound cues. From recreating a pre-existing advertisement to recording and editing cast vocals, working on Enron was a lot of fun and solidified my love for sound design.
What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?
Once I graduate, I aim to pursue sound design. New theatre interests me the most, but I would also like to explore sound system engineering for live events and festivals. I am also interested in rigging and automation systems, and I am keen to expand my knowledge further.
What's something you've learned that you feel will help you when you graduate?
Throughout my time at Guildhall, I have learnt more about collaboration and its importance in our industry. Everything we do in theatre and live events relies on working as a team, and I feel Guildhall has been able to help me develop this.
