The newly formed Live Electronics Ensemble will see Electronic & Produced Music and Jazz Department students collaborating to present and mutate their own compositions, installations, and performance processes. Musing on ideas of interdependence, vulnerability and emergence in a shimmering multi-channel system. They will be joined by guest musician Roxanna Albayati and movement artist Byuka. The performance will feature an audio reading by author and astrologer Alice Sparkly Kat – from their work 'Dragons as Fact and Fiction' – on the Dragon spirit of rivers as compelling sources of fear and nourishment. Computational artist Batool Desouky will be opening the evening with a performed adaption of ‘Careful Slugs: Caring for Unknowing in CS (Computer Science)’.

Venue information
Silk Street Theatre, Music Hall and Lecture Recital Room are located in the main Guildhall School building on Silk Street and for Barbican produced events the venue can also be accessed from the Barbican if you exit via the doors next to Barbican Kitchen on Level G.
