Daniel Whewell

Biography

Daniel spent 10 years as a technician in sunny Yorkshire, for theatre, music and the occasional jazz festival in theatres, concert halls, fields and the odd narrow barge or two. He moved to London in 2000 to spend one year training at Mountview Academy before running away to join Moscow state circus as a lighting technician.

Since leaving the big top Daniel has worked in a variety of roles around London, before settling down at the Albany Theatre in Deptford as Chief Technician. Whilst at the Albany he had the pleasure of working with various arts organisation and musicians, occasionally leaving London to take shows around the UK and Europe.
