What's been your highlight during your time at Guildhall?

My highlight at Guildhall so far would be, Tower Bridge: 125 Years of London’s Defining Landmark. I worked as a Video Designer, creating content for the ascent and decent into the bascule chamber of Tower Bridge. This project was eye opening and also a great experience as I had to work alongside my peers, liaising with the client about my work and its final outcome

What's been your highlight in the industry?

I have been a part of a collective of audio visual artists called Mind Of Ours as a VJ since the end of 2019, throwing events celebrating dance music, club culture and its benefits for mental health. I have been able to create and experiment with content and perform live alongside multiple different DJs which is something I had never done before. The thrill of live performance is definitely something I deeply enjoy. Being a part of this has been amazing and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for it

What other passions and projects have you enjoyed exploring during your time at Guildhall?

I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring interactive video, most recently for my Interactive project where I built a system inside Notch, allowing the user to play sounds with their hands using a Leapmotion depth camera. 3D content creation is also a passion of mine and I have really enjoyed expanding my knowledge of this in my own time. I want to continue to learn new 3D software’s and broaden my skills.

What's something you've learned that you feel will help you when you graduate?

My time at Guildhall has taught me how to work alongside external clients, being able to articulate and explain my own ideas as well as incorporating theirs. Problem solving while under pressure has allowed me to feel more confident and I feel both of these skills will be extremely useful when I graduate.

What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?

I would love to be working within live events, whether that be video for music, dance or performance, as well as work that incorporates interactive video.
