Orchestral Artistry is an exciting professional specialism for advanced Bowed Strings, Wind, Brass or Percussion instrumentalists seeking a career in orchestral playing, delivered in association with one of the world’s leading orchestras, the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO).

Studying for a Masters in Performance prepares you for entry to the profession at the highest level, offering training in the following areas: Advanced Instrumental Studies (for Strings, Wind, Brass, Percussion, Keyboard), Chamber Music, Historical Performance, Jazz, Opera Studies, Piano Accompaniment, Repetiteur, Vocal Studies, and Orchestral Artistry in association with the LSO.

Studying Composition at Masters level prepares you for professional life as a composer. It allows you to explore and refine your individual artistic voice within the collaborative atmosphere of a busy, modern conservatoire, while also giving you the space for self-reflection. The MMus and MComp can also be studied as a purely electronic specialism.

Open to gap year students and those wishing to come to the UK to study abroad at undergraduate or postgraduate level, this course is focused on Principal Study tuition and musicianship skills.

The emphasis of this programme is on your individual growth as a practical musicians and artist, through the principal study module. It is open to students interested in Principal Study in Strings, Wind, Brass, Percussion, Keyboar, Vocal Studies, Opera Studies (including Repetiteurs), Historical Performance and Jazz.

This programme is for advanced students with exceptional aptitude in their specialism, and strong professional and artistic ambitions, providing specialist, professional training for those embarking on a national and international career. It is open to students interested in Principal Study in Strings, Wind, Brass, Percussion, Keyboar, Vocal Studies, Opera Studies (including Repetiteurs) and Historical Performance.

This Masters programme allows composers and writers to focus on how new opera is created, developed and performed, and is delivered in association with the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

The Masters in Music Therapy aims to develop students’ musicianship and personal potential, and equip them with the knowledge and skills to work as a registered music therapist.
