Directed by John Haidar and designed by Frankie Bradshaw, Mercury Fur is set against the backdrop of a dystopian London, a derelict estate and a deserted flat. Two brothers, struggling to survive, plan parties where the guests live out their wildest fantasies. When events spiral out of control they must decide what to sacrifice to save the ones they love. Philip Ridley’s apocalyptic vision of the future is a profound indictment of the world we live in now.

The Last Days of Judas Iscariot is an exuberant, witty and irreverent play written by Stephen Adly Guirgis. The creative team is made up of director Wyn Jones and designer Libby Watson. The play challenges perceptions about faith and forgiveness, with the action taking place in a courtroom in the backstreets of downtown Purgatory where the ultimate fate of Judas Iscariot is deliberated.

The Autumn drama programme concludes with Eduardo de Filippo’s Saturday, Sunday, Monday adapted by Keith Waterhouse and Willis Hall. Directed by Joseph Blatchely and designed by Dora Schweitzer the funny, fast-paced production follows an extended Italian family and friends as they gather for a traditional Sunday ragù. The mother and father quarrel and the family is in turmoil, but unknowingly, the young daughter seems to have the key to peace and harmony.
