Biography & Pure profile
What is something you've learned that you feel will help you when you graduate?
One of the things I've learnt is how important attention to detail is, especially when it comes to visual storytelling. Developing my eye for these details has assisted me in evolving not just my costume design, assistant, and standby skills, but also my time management, leadership and organisation skills which will be useful throughout life.
What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?
After I graduate, I'm most interested in working in the costume department for film and television. I'm passionate about the creative process behind costume design, from researching various styles and references to collaborating with the other departments to help create a project and bring the characters to life though clothing.
What other passions and projects have you enjoyed exploring during your time at Guildhall?
One of my favourite projects that I've worked on so far is the Screens Project. This project was a great opportunity to get a feel for what it's like working in film and I also got to experience a bit of what its like being a costume designer. I also loved my personal Costume for Performance Project in which I got to explore and create many designs that with plentiful inspirations I loved.
