One to One Lessons
Are you aged 7–18 and want high-quality instrumental and singing lessons from expert tutors? With Guildhall Young Artists Online you can learn any instrument on a one-to-one basis, make rapid progress and have fun.
- All levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced
- Continue with your current instrument or try something completely new - from the drums to double bass and beyond!
- Learn with specialist tutors in a safe online environment
We’ll match you with one of our specialist Guildhall Young Artists tutors, carefully selected to fit your level, experience, and individual needs.
Online tuition is available in 30, 45 and 60 minute durations.
Please note, we would recommend new students age 7–10 start with a lesson of no more than 30 minutes.

10 x 30 minute lessons | £330 per term |
10 x 45 minute lessons | £450 per term |
10 x 60 minute lessons | £590 per term |
By signing up for one-to-one tuition, you agree to give notice by the end of week five (half a term) if you do not wish to continue your one-to-one lessons the following term. Students will be enrolled onto the following term if notice is not given during this time. View our Finance and Funding page for more information.
Autumn Term Dates 2023 (10 weeks)
Classes will run from Tuesday 26 September – Saturday 9 December
Half term – no classes week of 23 October
Spring Term Dates 2024 (11 weeks)
Classes will run from Tuesday 9 Jan – Saturday 30 March
Half term – no classes week of 12 February
Summer Term Dates 2024 (9 weeks)
Classes will run from Tuesday 23 April – Saturday 29 June
Half term – no classes week of 27 May
We regret it is not possible to give refunds in the event of absence as the Centre has to continue paying professional tutors and overheads. GYA Online expects as close to 100% attendance as possible, to ensure you develop and get the most out of your membership. Please refer to the Parent/Carer Agreement for the full terms and conditions.
One-to-one lessons are to be arranged at a regular time that is mutually convenient between teacher and student.

This notice period is required to fulfil obligations to the professional tutors, pay for facilities and to encourage you to be fully committed to the courses chosen.
