Frances currently teaches piano in three Somerset schools including Wells Cathedral School, the violin at Bridgwater College and is a piano accompanist at Richard Huish College in Taunton.  She is very much enjoying her Saturday work including teaching piano, singing and general musicianship at Guildhall Young Artists Taunton.

Frances is the regular accompanist for The Burnham & Highbridge Choral Society and also plays for other societies on occasions and has performed Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana and the Brahms Requiem with Bridgwater Choral Society and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle with South Petherton and Weston Choral Societies.

A keen singer, Frances sand for many years with The Phoenix Singers chamber choir, and continues to be a member of Somerset Songster as well as her Church choir.  She is the musical director for BEES, the musical theatre group in Burnham-on-Sea, and enjoys working with the children and adults in this group. They are a group who perform regularly at The Princess Theatre in Burnham and recently they performed Stephen Sondheim’s Into The Woods.

In contrast to her musical interests, Frances has much fun in her role as a Brownie Leader.
