Emma Banton

Biography

Emma has 10 years' experience working at the BRIT School, where she is currently Director of Applied Theatre & Community and is responsible for developing and managing school-wide community engagement projects in line with the school’s ethos and strategic vision. She also runs the Post 16 Applied Theatre course at the BRIT School. 

She has developed a freelance consultancy service for a range of organisations offering training and guidance in the following areas: inclusive practice, unconscious bias, arts education development and community engagement.

Her training and career is centred around developing inclusive, creative spaces where individuals from all walks of life can access the arts and use it as a vehicle for social change.
