Day Six
The Eight Days of Christmas highlights students and alumni whose education has been supported by a scholarship. From now until noon on 9 December, the Big Give is doubling every online donation until we reach our goal.
Your generosity creates next year’s scholarships, inspiring the new stories that come with them.
Day Six
First year MA in Music Therapy students Teah Collins and Oli Davis demonstrate Pass the Beat, a fun and engaging rhythm game designed to sharpen musical timing, listening skills, and adaptability to changes in tempo and direction. This game can be used as a warm-up, a focus exercise or a classroom rhythm challenge, and will bring energy and creativity to your practice.
While studying Music Therapy at Guildhall, students like Teah and Oli work alongside qualified music therapists, and experience working with adults and children on placements in a variety of settings, including healthcare units, special and mainstream schools, and with people who experience mental health issues, dementia, learning disabilities and communication disorders.
Watch along to see how rhythm, collaboration and a little bit of fun come together in this exercise...perhaps something to try with your friends and family this festive season!
