Student Welfare
The well-being of our students is a prerequisite for their success. Staff are required to undertake regular safeguarding training, which is part of our safeguarding culture at Junior Guildhall.

Safeguarding
All Junior Guildhall staff are subject to safe recruitment processes which include Enhanced DBS checks. Staff are required to undertake regular safeguarding training which is part of our safeguarding culture at Junior Guildhall. We have a dedicated Safeguarding Team and you can contact our Head of Safeguarding, Hetsie van Rooyen if you would like any information on pastoral or safeguarding support.
Please note that the School does not provide supervision of children when they are not attending a timetabled activity. However, parents are welcome on the premises on Saturdays.

Careers Advice and Development
The well-being of our students is a prerequisite for their success and there may be times when they will need help or advice. The Head of Junior Guildhall and the Head of Junior Music Courses, welcome discussion on progress or careers advice. In addition, there are three heads of department and ten coordinators to oversee the students’ studies and help cater for their individual needs.
