Event information

A panel of musicians and educators will discuss the importance of a national plan for music education and share their aspirations for the NPME2.

The event is the finale of a series of six Worshipful Company of Educators events with a focus on Music Education, which were ran from 2021 -22 as part of the Master's year. We are grateful to Guildhall School for agreeing to host the panel in the Music Hall.

The panel, chaired by Dr Steven Berryman, includes Sarah Gee (Spitalfields Music), Simon Toyne (DRET Music), Roz de Vile (UK Music Masters), Yogesh Dattani (Ealing Music Service) and Geoffrey Harniess (Centre for Young Musicians London). The panel discussion begins at 6pm, and there will be opportunities for audience questions to the panel before drinks.

The discussion will interest a wide variety of people engaged in music education and we particularly welcome educators in all settings.
