Eddie Comerford CV
What has been your highlight during your time at Guildhall?

My highlight over the past three years so far has been working as the Deputy Stage Manager at the start of my third year on the production of Lucy Kirkwood’s ‘The Welkin’. It was my first experience of working on a role of this size and I was able to work closely with the director and the cast throughout the rehearsal process. It helped me hugely by increasing my confidence in my abilities as well as developing my professional practise.

What are you most interested in working in after you graduate?

I am most interested in working as an ASM (Book Cover), my favourite parts of stage managing are show calling as well as prop sourcing , this role is good opportunity for me to do this and I have had a large amount of experience within this role.

What’s been your highlight in the industry?

I have had a good amount of great experiences outside of Guildhall within the industry but my highlights have been working as props manager on University of Oxford productions of ‘An American in Paris’ and ‘The Addams Family’ as well as volunteering experience backstage at the immersive show, ‘You Me Bum Bum Train’. Outside of stage management, I had the incredible opportunity to work for the Society of London Theatre as a theatre panellist on the Olivier Awards 2025.
